Overview
This course equips professionals with the practical skills to prepare sustainability and climate-related disclosures aligned with IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 standards. Participants will learn how to identify sustainability risks and opportunities, assess climate-related impacts, develop reporting controls, and create assurance-ready disclosures. The course also explores integrated thinking, value creation, governance, and integrated reporting frameworks to support transparent decision-making and long-term organisational performance. Learners will gain hands-on experience in drafting disclosures, conducting readiness assessments, and developing transition roadmaps for sustainability reporting compliance. A quality-assured certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand is issued on successful completion.
