Overview
This short course aims to bridge the gap between public health, law and human rights and to highlight the need for interdisciplinary understandings and solutions to public health issues. Furthermore, it aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to understand the South African health law and policy landscape and to analyse public health policies from a human rights perspective, with an emphasis on health equity and social justice as well as community engagement and participation.
Duration
This is a course that runs over a term where participants attend evening lectures from 17:30 to 19:00 twice a week during the period 07 April to 27 May 2025.
