Overview
The course aims to develop isiZulu language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills as well as grammar and vocabulary at a Beginner (A1) level on the Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) for languages. It is the second of two modules at this level.

    The course content addresses the following topics:


    • Expressing likes and dislikes 
    • Talking about past events, holiday destinations, and the weather 
    • Describing family, social events, and one's home 
    • Speaking on the phone 
    • Asking about and giving personal descriptions
    • Reading and understanding notes, brochures, advertisements, and simplified texts
    • Writing paragraphs on familiar topics, requests for information, and short personal messages (letter/email)
    • A variety of grammar and vocabulary appropriate for the level
