Overview
This course provides a practical and comprehensive introduction to the South African residential and commercial property environment. Participants explore the financial, legal, and technical factors shaping property investment, valuation, and development. The curriculum covers property law, contracts, feasibility studies, cash-flow analysis, town planning, and both residential and commercial valuation techniques. Students will learn to identify investment opportunities, assess risks and returns, interpret planning schemes, and apply property finance principles. Ideal for aspiring and practising property professionals, the course equips students with the analytical and practical skills required to evaluate and manage property assets confidently. A quality-assured certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand is issued on successful completion.
