Overview
This course provides a deep dive into how mining data is created, processed, and used for decision-making and reporting. Through a blend of technical and strategic topics — including spatial intelligence, mapping systems, and change management — participants gain exposure to the latest tools used across mining operations. The course equips students with process-based thinking and updated knowledge of IT systems in mining. Suitable for MRM practitioners, mine planners, and systems operators, this course may be taken independently or as part of the Advanced Mineral Resource Management Certificate. A quality-assured certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand is issued on successful completion.
