Overview
This course aims to cover the basic legal and regulatory frameworks for health and safety in the workplace and construction projects, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Department of Labour policies, and environmental considerations in planning, design, and management of projects to ensure maximum health and safety in a construction work environment. Learners will be introduced to the roles and responsibilities of the various members of the construction team generally, and construction health and safety officials particularly.
