The course content addresses the following topics:
- Tense control (present, past, perfect), modal auxiliaries, conditionals, comparatives, and article use
- Verb tense and aspect: tense distinctions and time markers
- Modal verbs and conditionals: obligation, advice, and hypothetical situations
- Sentence structure: simple connectors (and, but, because) and a range of conjunctions
- Vocabulary to express feelings, opinions, and ideas on familiar topics: verb phrases, compound nouns, prefixes/suffixes, synonyms/antonyms
- Punctuation and editing symbols
- Write emails, stories, and correspondence on familiar topics
- Conversations about plans, experiences, or comparisons
