The course content addresses the following topics:
- Describing feelings, places, people, clothing, one's home, family, daily routines, jobs, leisure activities, holidays, diet, food, and possessions
- Understanding and giving simple directions
- Speaking about past experiences, jobs, and making requests
- Writing an informal email, a thank you note or an email to reserve accommodation
- Reviewing correct punctuation: commas, full stops, question marks, and capital letters in writing
- Reading brochures, informal emails, and biographies of famous people
- Listening to conversations, discussions, short interviews, and stories
