Overview
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the key principles, tools, and techniques used in successful project execution. With lectures held every Monday evening, this course is perfect for working professionals and students interested in mastering the basics of project planning, initiation, resource scheduling, and monitoring. Participants will learn to create project scopes, break down work structures, use Gantt charts and network diagrams, assess and manage risks, and apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to track performance. Course assessments include assignments, a class test, and a summative exam, all contributing to a practical, industry-relevant credential. A quality-assured certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand is issued on successful completion.
