Overview
Designed for students who wish to enrol in Labour Dispute Resolution Practice (LDRP) but do not yet hold a legal qualification, this preparatory course offers a structured introduction to core legal concepts and terminology, the South African legal system, judicial precedent, and both civil and criminal law branches. It also covers contract law fundamentals and the law of delict. Students develop critical legal reading, reasoning, and writing skills essential for interpreting statutes and case law. The course also emphasises interactive engagement, encouraging participants to explore topics through discussion and structured assessments. Completion of the course equips students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in LDRP studies. A quality-assured certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand is issued on successful completion.

Weekly classes on Saturdays (08:30–17:00) and Tuesday and Thursday evenings (17:30–19:30)
