Overview
This six-month COMENSA-approved course provides aspiring and practising coaches with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and professional frameworks needed to establish or strengthen a coaching practice. Students explore core coaching theories, coaching mindset, critical conversations, ethical practice, and self-awareness while developing practical competence through supervised coaching sessions. The course also covers coaching agreements, methodologies, reflection, and the COMENSA competency framework. Ideal for those seeking professional certification, internal organisational coaches, managers, and HR practitioners, the course equips participants to coach confidently and effectively within personal, organisational, and leadership contexts. A quality-assured certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand is issued on successful completion.
