Overview
This course explores the strategic role of the mining sector in driving economic growth and development. It examines how mineral resources can be leveraged through policy, governance, and value chain integration to strengthen national economies. Participants will gain insights into beneficiation, downstream processing, and the economic viability of mining-related projects. The course also analyses key stakeholders across the mineral value chain and its links to the broader economy. Participants can earn 20 CPD points with ECSA and 20 CPD points with SACNASP upon completion. A quality-assured certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand is issued on successful completion.
